Slowly Martha reached her hand forward to touch the horse head and put a finger on its nose. Suddenly, the room started spinning and then, there was no room at all. They were stood by a building with columns .“This must be the Parthenon and where the last of the statues were being built.” said Thomas. “That means it’s 432bc…” said Martha.
The pair stared at each other and they could tell they were thinking the same thing. They were in Cyprus, in Ancient Greece (432bc). Parthenon’s stood still, crumbling in the dusty surroundings; crowds of people were bustling around whilst shoving each other. Martha brushed her hair back behind her ear whilst Thomas just stared around himself wondering what had just happened. At that moment, the bright young lady glanced up and saw in the distance, Mount Olympus. The mountain was standing proud and tall, the golden sun shining majestically down on it.
“Thomas!” she said, “Look up, there is Mount Olympus! Isn’t it beautiful! Can you see it?” the smart young lady saw Thomas as his eyes lit up with glee and amazement.
“So cool! I wish I could go up there and climb it.” Thomas stated, ” But it would take such a long time to do so because after all, it is the tallest mountain in Greece! Plus I do not have any climbing gear in my backpack”
Martha then thought, and thought, and thought. Then realized that it would actually be possible to climb this 2,918-meter tall mountain. So she looked inside her loaded backpack and took out some climbing gear: 2 helmets, 2 pairs of hiking trainers, 2 extra long ropes, two descenders for when Thomas and Martha climb back down from Mount Olympus, and a locking carabiner so the couple will be safe whilst travelling up the mountain.
The smart young lady showed Thomas what she had in her rather full backpack and Thomas agreed that they should do so and climb this mountain together. So they put on their helmets, hiking trainers, attached the ropes to the mountain and themselves and connected the descenders to their harnest. Now they were set to climb Mount Olympus. As they made their way up this mountain Thomas and Martha saw at the very top of it a large Parthenon. They gasped and decided they should speed up and see what was inside of the temple. The pair had to do so as quick as possible because noon was drawing near, nearer and nearer.
After another hour and 3/4, Thomas and Martha reached the very top of the largest mountain in Greece, Mount Olympus! Exhaustedly they both removed their helmets from their head, removed the rope from the mountain and made their way inside this rather large, marble Parthenon. There were statues all around them, of Gods and Goddesses . Thomas was itching to touch the large Zeus statue in the center, Martha was too. The couple glanced at each other and were thinking the same thing. So at that moment, they put each of their hands onto the Zeus statue. Then as if by magic the same thing happened like before. the world around them suddenly disappeared.
“The Battle of Platea!” they both exclaimed glancing at each other in worry, “This must be the year 479BC, the great Battle of Platea. This happened near the city of Plataea in Boeotia…”

You can tell by reading it that he put a lot of work and effort into his part of the story. Even with this article I have written, I put in as much effort as I could to make it perfect and the best I can.
