How To Look After A Pony.

Grooming: grooming a pony is really easy, but only if your tall enough. All you do is run the brush on the horses/ponies back and get all the hairs off

Riding: riding a pony is a little bit harder because when you are riding a pony/horse because they are all different and some horses are lazy and won’t walk and some horses/ponies will go really fast.

Putting out in a field: when you put a pony out in a field all you do is put a headcollar on its head and lead it with the lead rope and when you get to the field you take the ponies headcollar off and let it run around the field and have a roll have a role.

Mucking out: If you have a horse you have to muck it out every day, all you do when you mucking out a horse is grab a shaving fork and pick up all the horses poo and wet. Then get a sweeping brush and sweep up all the shavings that are at the front of the horse’s bed and flatten the bed out with a fork.

If you have a pony you are really lucky, but remember horses/ponies are dangerous sometimes so always be careful around them and stay safe. Horses cost so much money. If you have a horse, you would have to pay for the shavings, the rugs, the brushes and the feed
