imageKilnsey is a small village in Wharfedale, North Yorkshire, between the villages of Grassington and Kettlewell.

There is a large limestone cliff called Kilnsey Crag which is around 180 feet high!

The Old Hall in Kilnsey was a medieval site for wool trade which dates from 1658.

There is also a trout farm to visit at Kilnsey Park which offers activities for all the family. These include fishing, farm animals, an adventure playground and a nature trail with a butterfly garden. It is part of the Kilnsey Estate which was given by the monks to King Henry VIII.

The village holds an annual agricultural show to promote the region.
