My Idea Of Heaven

Have you ever wondered what heaven actually looks like? The place where everyone calls paradise.

It was just an ordinary day. I woke up and did the same morning routine as usual. On my way to breakfast I was thinking about what would happen when we go to heaven or how we will go. I was wondering who I’d be with and what I would do there. Anyway I got distracted by my two noisy brothers. How are they so active in the morning? It’s so awkward being the only girl.

After my breakfast, I decided to go for a walk. So off I went as soon as possible. First I stopped for ice-cream, and then sat down for a break. A few minutes later I realised I was still sat down. Quickly I hurried off into the gleaming sunshine.

Eventually, I reached my destination and as quick as lightning, sprinted into the shade. I felt like I was going to melt it was that hot. After a while I knew it was time to leave. On my way home I hummed to myself. All of a sudden the ground started to shake. The trees snapped off and the sky turned white. This was all so frightening I was scared out of my skin. I fell to the ground. After that I remember nothing.

Ding, ding, ding. Soon I woke up to find myself lying on a strong cloud that was so soft. Bells were ringing by my ears to wake me. I was confused. I stood up and walked around this strange place. Everything was so clear I could see things from a mile away.

I was alone still amazed of where I was, until things got even better. I couldn’t believe my eyes. There was my mum and grandads! I ran to my mum and gave her a hug. I hugged her so tight I didn’t want to let go. She explained to me that we were in heaven, she told me how much she missed me, my brothers and dad. She told me she had been waiting here for us. After we had talked I went to discover this place. Whenever I wanted something it’d just appear in front of me. From the corner of my eye, I could see a box. I went over to see what it was. I discovered that it was a memory box. With all my memories.

Suddenly, I dropped to the floor with a heavy thud, I had fallen off the bed. I was disappointed, this was all just an unbelievable dream.

Well my idea of heaven is a simple one. It’s not to have parties every night or have tonnes of money. It’s not even to have an extravagant car. No, my thoughts are very different. Mine is to meet the people who have moved on in life and to do all the important things that we never got to do together. It’s also to be free and do anything.
