Paris, an amazing adventure that I will cherish forever. I was happy to share this magical experience with my amazing teachers and my delightful friends. Thank you to all the astonishing teachers that gave up their weekend so that us students could enjoy the beautiful Paris.
At 11:30 PM, everyone going to Paris went to school and our head teacher (Mr Devlin) called out our names to make sure we were all here. Next, we tearfully said our goodbyes and hurried onto the coach. As it was very late, most of us fell asleep.
Early Friday morning, I realised that we were going onto the ferry! Although it took a while to get there, we eventually arrived into Paris! This was amazing and I was nervous but excited. The rest of this day we spent looking at huge buildings and exploring Paris. Soon, we went over to the hotel we were staying at and unpacked everything. Then, it was teatime so we headed over to McDonalds! After this exhausting day we were all so tired, so we went back to the hotel and had a good nights rest.
At 6:30, we were all woken up by Mrs Fisher who told us to wake up and be ready by 7:00 as that’s when we were going down for breakfast. We did as we were told and had the most marvellous breakfast you could of possibly asked for. We needed the energy as we were going to be walking for the whole day! We visited the most interesting monarchs. My two favourites were Arch deTriomphe and Notre Dame but I still found everything else wonderful. Even after walking two hundred steps, we still had the strength to walk up the Eiffel Tower itself! Unfortunately, we could only go onto the second floor, but the second was scary enough. After this tiring day, we were all very drowsy and had the most peaceful sleep.
It was our last day here in Paris. What more better way to spend it than at Disneyland! The whole day we were having a blast. The first ride we went on was Star Tours. It was a little like a rollercoaster but not quite. I loved it because you felt like you were in the movie. Next, Hyper Space Mountain. This was one of my favourite rides: it did epic loop the loops and I screamed and screamed until nothing else came out of my voice. Everyone was pretty shook up about that ride but I would definitely go on it again. The other rides we went on were… Pirates of the Caribbean, Slinky Rollercoaster, RC Racecar and -my favourite- Hollywood Tower of Terror! I honestly loved this ride because it was like an elevator. You went up, up, up and then all of a sudden you fall down super fast. When it went down it took me off my seat! Eventually the ride ended and I was disappointed. Although we did have to wait a long time to go on it, it was worth it.
Paris was the best! I can’t believe the adventure I had. I would definitely go again; it was the most awing experience I’ve ever had.
