Mystical Maths

Welcome to Mystical Maths where we show you Maths can be used for everyday problems. So, let’s get on with this article! Let’s start with an easy word problem.

Kamran, Jack and Ellis had 10 lollipops, if they shared them out, how many will they have each? THINK, have you got it? Try write it on a piece of paper. 3…2…1…0.The answer is  you would have to do 10 divided by three which is 3r1, you cannot have remainder of a lollipop so Ellis will have to have 4 while Kamran and Ellis have to have 3.

I want to see if you can pass as small test only 5 questions.

  1. Do you know what 25 times by 5 is?
  2. 40 divided by 5 is?
  3. 16 times by 10 is (hint: add a zero)?
  4. 14 times 14 is?
  5. 23 times by 26 is?

Please try and answer these and post a comment. Share this article to friends and family. I’m going to write a longer article next time.

See ya!
