A few months ago I decided that my hair was annoyingly hard to brush and style so I thought why not donate my hair to a charity that makes wigs for children who have unfortunately lost their hair due to an illness or something. The charity I donated to was called Little Princess Trust. I was nervous but excited to get my hair cut, I felt excited because I knew I was doing a good deed, but I was nervous too because I didn’t fully know what my hair would look like or how much of it would be cut off. Altogether I donated 12.9 inches of hair to make a wig for a child. I am very happy with the decision of giving my hair to a charity, otherwise all of that hair I had cut off would have got thrown in the bin.
Little Princess Trust donate hair to young people up to the age of 24. The hair that is donated can be curled or straightened. You shall receive a certificate from the Little Princess Trust within a week or two. When you send your hair and the charity receives it they will send it to a manufacturer in China to form part of one wig. It can take from approximately ten hair donations to make a single wig.
