Victory!

On September 26th 2018 the year 6 boy’s football team at St Joseph Catholic Primary School came top of the Bradford district School football tournament – even beating former champions Oakworth Primary. the team coach(Mr Garnett)was impressed by how well the team played and how they had only been together a few weeks. After the match the coach said “I’m proud of this group of lads and how they started with nothing and now they have the Bradford finals in their grasp.”

Who are these people you may ask?

Well these people are Kyan,Harley,Finlay,Kieran,James and me Elliott

the positions the team played went like this Elliott being goalkeeper James was midfield Kieran was in defence Finlay was striker Kyan was also striker and Harley was with Kieran in defence 

In February the team will go to Bradford and will face Silsden school who won another tournament on the Monday.
